For Trudy with ♥

This poetry I create for you my sweet friend. I hope you like it. THE WIND: Locked in my lonely prison, I see the gray clouds that sail the sky. The wind carries them quickly from one place to another. Overlapping blacks moving frantically and resemble the dark thoughts I have on me! The wind whistles through the branches of trees and frightens me. Small pieces of my past memories are revealed in my mind as a flash of a distant past. I was the happy child who was playing in the meadows? I was the girl who was happy carefree life? Look at me now God! Look what I am now! An aspen leaf that is afraid of the wind! Where are you? Why not give me back my lost youth? Why not give me back my joy? Suddenly the wind dies down as if by magic Nothing is heard and the trees are silent astonishment! An unnatural silence stuns me! What happens? Everything is still as frozen by an icy silence! Life seems to stop and the gray clouds stop above my head. So I understand! The wind is life itself! It is the breath of life that animates everything! It is God himself! Dark or white as snow, clouds hover read pushed by the wind! No one can follow them because they vanish in an instant!
