Her life changed when she is given a ticket to SHIPS's concert, a cute boy artist duo, by an otaku, named Seiji, for rescuing his turtle from a tree. However, as she enters the concert, a boy with black hair by the name of Hiroto rips up her ticket and told her to stay away from Seiji as they're not meant to be together. She discovered that Seiji and Hiroto are actually members of SHIPS when she accidentally fell onto the stage as they introduced themselves. It is there that Kirari declares to become an idol in front of a live audience to prove Hiroto wrong (and to be with Seiji whom she has a crush on). From then on, Kirari begins to go through many challenges to start and maintain her idoling career, which she met many friends and rivals along the way.
