captive orca profiles 231 bob

On August 3, 2016, a 6 month old male orca was rescued in New Zealand. The calf had been nicknamed Bob by locals. He had been separated from his pod for at least 20 days at the time of human intervention. Bob had been taken to an unknown facility for rehabilitation. Sadly, Bob passed away on August 6, 2016 as a result of complications with his stranding.
