I never had a garden so don't know any tips for it - but here's a tip about green - to get rid of green noise in a photo, in Photoshop, duplicate the layer, change the layer blend to color, apply Gaussian blur to taste, and there you go, you've gotten rid of the green noise, and some of the orange noise, too.
