The girl you just called fat.. She's on diet pills. The girl you just called ugly...She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her. The boy you just tripped...He is abused enough at home. See that man with the ugly scars...He fought for his country. The 14 year old girl with a kid, that you just called a slut....she got raped. That guy you just made fun of for crying, His mother is dying. Remember those you interact with, as you haven't walked in their shoes nor can fathom the depths of their sorrows or sense their level of desperation. Please be gentle and compassionate, as you would wish for others to treat you...

As I am a Heinz 57 mixed breed as so many are these days, I leave you with an Irish blessing and prayer!...
An Old Irish Blessing...
"May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand."
An Irish Prayer...
May God give you...
For every storm, a rainbow,
For every tear, a smile,
For every care, a promise,
And a blessing in each trial.
For every problem life sends,
A faithful friend to share,
For every sigh, a sweet song,
And an answer for each prayer.
An Old Irish Blessing...
May love and laughter light your days,
and warm your heart and home.
May good and faithful friends be yours,
wherever you may roam.
May peace and plenty bless your world
with joy that long endures.
May all life's passing seasons
bring the best to you and yours!
Many Hugs and Smiles to all my wondrous friends!!!

Rainbow Bridge 4 Mark!!! I Dedicate This Creation To Mark & His Family For The Loss Of Their Beloved Dog. My Throughts & Prayers Are With U In This Difficult Time. Here Is A Poem Titled, I Remember.
I Remember I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep. I could see that you were crying. You found it hard to sleep. I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear, "It's me, I haven't left you, I'm well, I'm fine, I'm here." I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea, You were thinking of the many times your hands reached down to me. I was with you at the shops today. Your arms were getting sore. I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more. I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care. I want to re-assure you, that I'm not lying there. I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key. I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said "It's me." You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair. I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there. It's possible for me to be so near you everyday. To say to you with certainty, "I never went away." You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew... in the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you. The day is over... I smile and watch you yawning and say "Good-night, God bless, I'll see you in the morning." And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide, I'll rush across to greet you and we'll stand, side by side. I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see. Be patient, live your journey out... then come home to be with me. Author unknown

Forever in my Heart)
So sorry for your loss..in deepest Sympathy..
Parting is tuff..but the tears are for Soul Healing! A gift for you & the family..
Pam! You are so precious and special, thankyou my wonderful friend!
I was reading some of your post and I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your very special friend. I understand how painful it is to loose a beloved pet.
Today, there was no gentle nudge
With an intense "I love you gaze",
Only a heart thats filled with tears
Remembering our joy filled days.
But an Angel just appeared to me,
And he said, "You should cry no more,
GOD also loves our canine friends,
HE's installed a 'doggy-door"!

My best friend closed his eyes last night,
As his head was in my hand.
The Doctors said he was in pain,
And it was hard for him to stand.
The thoughts that scurried through my head,
As I cradled him in my arms.
Were of his younger, puppy years,
And OH...his many charms.
Robin!..What a talented, dedicated, ingenius, and marvelous friend for animalkind you are! I always get a thrill seeing your creative works of art! Thankyou!!! :)

Rainbow Bridge...Pawprints on the Heart
(on the loss of our Big Boy Doggie "Thunder")
The Rainbow Bridge Just this side of heaven is a place called the Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to the Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together .... Author unknown...

As many of you know, I am a Heinz57 mixed breed as so many of us are today, but my heart is Native American Indian, as is part of my genetic heritage and lineage, and in this I find my strengths & heart...but I take my philosophies, understanding, commitments, beliefs, and practices from several walks of life and resources...
For those who may be interested in Native American Indian Legend/Lore & Cultural/Spiritual dimensions, perspectives, wisdoms, and a variety of elements...I leave you a link to a wonderful website where you may expand your interests and perhaps gain insights you may strive to understand or questions you wish answered or addressed regarding a broad variety of themes and aspects, as this may meet your internal struggles and questions...Please do not feel I am espousing or pushing anything upon anyone, as this is a personal dimension each must decide for themselves as we travel life's journey...And here you may discern my affinity for the Wolf & my peculiar and special bond that I am honored to have...Hugs/Smiles!
(Native American Prayers)
...(attention to the Wolf)...
"Royalty, spirit, strength, friendly, family, sociable, intelligent, ritualistic in nature (applies to all of life), balances flexibility to establish harmony and order in life, new paths and journeys, freedom to move within the realms of insights and attachments. Teaches able to be steadfast, familial protection, Epitome of the wild spirit. Wolf guides the use of resources and the lesson of adaptability along with teaching and instruction. Wolf helps to tap into inner strength and intuition. Sometimes transformation accompanies Wolf's lessons. Are you using your resources wisely for the greater good? Are you nourishing your family and those around you? Are you listening to your instincts to avoid confrontations? Wolf will add in balancing harmony and wisdom to take control of your life."
As all my friends know, I dearly love wolves & was honored to have a wolf hybrid as my companion for many years..Her name was "Talita", a precious, close, nurturing, loving, intelligent, and fiercely protective, loyal, and discerning companion! I miss her very much, and she forever impressed upon me the many wonderful traits that wolves and the wolf pack possess and display!
This portion is in honor of my precious "Talita" and thanks to my friend Melanie for the artwork and her wonderfully beautiful blingee! Thankyou Melanie! :)

I am a husband, father, grandfather, and ex-military. I am particularly proud of my daughter in her Figure Skating career and accomplishments and her character...but that has more to do with her, than me. I've been told I'm something of a jack of all trades since I have had such a broad variety of careers and opportunities in my life until recently. I don't claim any expertise to speak of, but I have enjoyed the broad variety of changes and challenges. I was a rather skilled Violinist in my younger years, I enjoyed the sports during high school and was quite good at wrestling, I enjoyed the Military and it's opportunities, I loved the martial arts...especially Kenpo. I have a fairly strong leaning toward being an adventurer, sky diving, nursing, construction of various sorts, chemical/pharmaceutical worker and manager, restaurant manager, electrical utility trades, trucker owner/operator, etc etc.
I dearly love wolves, nature, old world ways, religious philosophy, Indian legend, lore, and heritage, sci-fi and fantasy, adventure, open vistas, travel (albeit vicariously), aircraft and flight, military interests of different varieties, martial arts, weapons, eschatology (study of the last days or end times), etc etc. I particularly love the seemingly diametric thematic opposites...Sand, sun, beaches, oceans and the remote tropical paradises, and then Mountains and the isolation of pristeen mountain lakes and untouched forests and prairie vistas.
My all time favorite music is (hands down) the Beach Boys, but I love 60's and 70's easy listening of a broad variety, REO Speedwagon, CCR, Bread, Karen Carpenter, Gordon Lightfoot and especially his "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" and his "Railroad Trilogy", Simon and Garfunkle, the Beatles, Chicago, America, Tommy James and the Shondells, Elton John, Carly Simon, Olivia Newton John, John Denver, rock, pop, and a variety of modern country artists and themes like Toby Keith and Craig Morgan, some older country like "Convoy" by C.W. McCall, of course Alabama, Oak Ridge Boys, among other similar themes, and ballads of various sorts. I Especially love Celtic music & themes (Celtic Women)!
The Bible and End Times or Last Days analysis and study books (regarding eschatology) such as books by Hal Lindsey and Grant Jeffrey as well as Tim Lahaye...and a host of others, sci-fi and fantasy, Lord of the Rings trilogy...and other authors like Terry Brooks and Sword of Shannara, etc. Some action adventures.
Jeff Speakman in "The Perfect Weapon" (representing Kenpo Karate)...perhaps my all time favorite...catch this Kata which is my favorite: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmjrI11bMz0,
but also running high are also the Star Wars series. Terminator series. Star Trek series, Highlander series, Mission Impossible series, James Bond series, Soldier with Kurt Russell (I really Like that one) and other movies of his like The Thing, Indiana Jones series and other movies of Harrison Ford, Jennifer Garner in Elektra, Daredevil, Bruce Willis stuff like Die Hard and it's sequels and of course "Armageddon", the "Alien" series with Sigourney Weaver, movies starring Angelina Jolie, Underworld series, Resident Evil series, Rocky series, Some Chuck Norris, Steven Segal, Jean Claude VanDamn, other Karate noteworthy films including some Bruce Lee, old Jules Verne stuff, Jurassic Park series, Will Smith in a few different movies such as Independance Day and Men In Black, and (of course) Avatar.
Favorite TV Shows:
Old Battle Star Galactica, Star Treks of all time spans, Buck Rogers, Forever Knight, Highlander series, Other World, Lonewolf McQuade series, 12 O'Clock high, Mission Impossible, Black Sheep Squadron. Currently I like Stargate and it's variants like StarGate Atlantis, Angel, Lost Girl, Merlin, Being Human, Alphas, Falling Skies, Sarah Conner Chronicles, Smallville, Supernatural, Charmed, Revolution, Defiance, Doctor Who (I've watched that one for 30+ yrs now!)...you get the idea. Plus, last but not least, I love the old cartoons, Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, etc. I also enjoy all of the Survivor episodes, events.
"Today is a good day to die"
"It will be what it will be"
"He who hesitates, meditates in a horizontal position" which is a saying from our master Sensei Ed Parker (passed on now) from Kenpo, Karate.
"As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he"
"Don't worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of its self"
And...from the trucking community (AKA..sailors of the Black Sea):
"It's good to be on this side of the grass"
"Keep it between the lines"
