RIP DENNIS HOPPER

RIP Dennis Hopper -- Actor Dennis Hopper died in his world famous Venice, California home at the young age of 74 on May 29, 2010. Dennis Hopper died at his home in Venice, CA today -- a house known to be an architectural masterpiece. He was only 74 years old at the time of his death. Hopper was the spokesperson for the transition age group that fell somewhere between the baby boomer generation and the younger of the WWII senior citizens. Raised in the post depression era, hopper embraced a lifestyle that inclluded fiscal management and planning for fun in golden years. Younger fans remember him most for his work as the mad bomber in the movie SPEED staring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves. His trademark was playing the bad guy -- and in SPEED, Hopper played one of the best villains of them all. However, he was also well known and will be long remembered for his roles in the 1969 Easy Rider - which he Directed, Blue Velvet, Waterworld and Hoosiers, all of which earned him a variety of awards nominations.
