You Raise Me Up

I made this for my best friend. For the girl that made these years so amazing. My best friend Elise. i know i've made so many of her and me together...but this one is one of the most personal ones I could make. Elise has brightened my life. I tell her everyday that she is amazing and that she was an angel that was sent down from heaven to be with me. I know she is touched by my words but these words I speak are stronger then anything I could say. Dark days have crept up on me many-times in my life. Some so unbearable...that it feels like why should I go on? But it's her...my best friend who makes these days life worth living. Life worth while. She is that best friend in every-story a girl reads and hopes to find. I've gone through so much and here she is...standing by my side...holding my hand and making me smile and laugh. Here is the best friend who is there no matter what. For the wrongs I've done to the good deeds I've potrayed. She is that best friend you read...a made up one you want. But she's not made up. She's real. She is my best friend and I could never be more grateful. God, Christ, you have sent me down an angel. And I thank you for your gift. She's all I could ask for. So Elise, when you read this. Remember how grateful I am for you. You raise me up to see the most important things in life. You hold me close and I know I'll be alright. Thank you Elise!
