I was told to "GET OVER IT"
Recently, I'm going through a very bad patch. I have not got my sister and brother with me currently and I confided in a close friend how I'm feeling and she told me to "Get over it". I suffer from mental health troubles but this made me worse. I cried a lot last night and instead of going to my ASD group, I ended up spending the whole day in bed becaue what she said to me echoed in my mind. I've decided to take myself away from facebook (excluding my craft group and updating banner) for the meanwhile. I'm hurt and upset that someone who I thought would understand me by now tell me this. How can I just "get over" mental illness? I've had to remove her from my life once before due to a same incident. I don't want to do it again as she promised this time she'd be more understanding but she hasn't changed apparently :'( I'm hurting so bad... She doesn't know that this has damaged me because I refuse to tell her or talk to her. I'm sorry but I needed to say it. I'm upset. I don't know who is a real friend these days and who isn't.
