4. As Colgate talked Tyler watched the taller lion bitterly. He was catching his breath, and after a hit to the ribs like that there was no chance he was going to be able to talk over Colgate and his loud mouth. “Thats not true.” he growled quietly, his tail swishing angrily as he stood up. “Shut up Colgate! None of thats true- why should anyone trust a lion with a toothbrush for a mane?!"

Tyler growled as he stood up, throwing the pair of strangers a dirty look as his head buzzed from both lack of air and from the previous hits he received from Colgate. “I’m-“ “A killer!” Colgate cut in, pouncing infront of Tyler and switching his gaze between Anna and Levi dramatically. “Why else would I be running away? Do I /look/ like a coward?” He asked, pausing for a moment and talking again before Tyler could butt in. 

1.“Hey!” Colgate whined childishly. How /dare/ this guy just go run after the other cub when it was so apparently obvious that /he/ was the one who needed protection! “What the hell man? You were supposed to /protect/ me from that monster of a lion! We had an agreement!” He barked, standing up and blowing his toothbrush out of his face. “What if he tries to touch my toothbrush? Do you think thats /appropriate/? ‘Cause let me tell you its not! It’s just plain violating!”
